Software Engineer Apprentice (Python)

What you will do

• Maintain and improve production connectors written in Python.
• Work with the Woob framework to build and enhance financial and identity-data connectors.
• Monitor deployed fixes by analysing logs and system behaviour.
• Debug incidents, investigate issues, and propose technical improvements.
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, code reviews, and technical problem-solving sessions.
• Document fixes, workflows, and technical learnings for team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Python through studies, internships, or personal projects.
• Strong interest in software development and problem solving.
• Curiosity, patience, organization, responsibility, and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort using AI tools for coding and learning while critically validating their output.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with APIs, logs, monitoring, or debugging tools.
• Experience with existing or legacy codebases.
• Interest in fintech, data aggregation, or system maintenance.
• Personal or academic software-development projects.
