Forward Deployed Software Engineer (Python/Java/C++)

Location: Madrid, Spain; on-site at an office. Travel to client sites may be required for up to 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Work directly with customers to understand complex operational problems and design data-driven solutions.
• Own the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams with minimal supervision.
• Discuss software architecture and work with large-scale data and storage systems.
• Build custom web applications and develop solutions using cloud infrastructure and front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, Deployment Strategists, customer executives, and other stakeholders.
• Establish technical and strategic direction while making independent decisions.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant post-college work experience.
• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Analytical mindset and interest in solving business problems with large-scale data.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and adapt to changing objectives.
• Fluent Spanish and security clearance or the ability to obtain clearance are required.
