Salary: $18–$21 per hour

What you will do
- Manage front-of-house communication across phone, Slack, Dialpad, and in-person interactions.
- Schedule appointments, manage wait times, and coordinate the real-time flow of a busy veterinary practice.
- Support members during new memberships, routine care, sick visits, and urgent visits with warmth and composure.
- Handle medical billing communications, surgery estimates, outstanding items, prescription hand-offs, and drop-offs.
- Coordinate with nurses, doctors, external veterinary practices, and telehealth staff to maintain continuity of care.
- Conduct proactive member outreach, pre-booking, feedback collection, and review solicitation while maintaining a welcoming practice environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a hospitality-focused role; veterinary or medical experience is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills, with a naturally empathetic approach to anxious or emotional clients.
- Ability to switch between tasks quickly while maintaining quality and composure.
- Familiarity with medical billing concepts or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Comfort with Slack, scheduling systems, and technology in general.
- Availability for 40 hours per week, including one weekend day; ability to work occasional solo shifts and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

- Veterinary or medical experience.
