What you will do

• Research published work and standardization developments in deep learning and video coding.
• Propose and implement new video-coding algorithms with the Video Coding and Deep Learning research teams.
• Develop deep-learning tools for generating accurate reference pictures and improving interprediction and coding efficiency.
• Address complexity constraints and integrate solutions into conventional and end-to-end deep-based video-coding architectures.
• Contribute to invention disclosures, standards contributions, peer-reviewed publications, and conferences.

Requirements

• Engineering diploma or master’s degree in computer science.
• Knowledge or practical experience in deep learning, machine learning, signal processing, or related fields.
• Interest in computer vision, image processing, and deep or machine learning.
• Software implementation experience with C/C++, Windows/Linux, Python, and TensorFlow.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Strong scientific understanding, communication skills, and ability to present work internally and externally.
