Certified or Licensed Residential Appraiser (PropTech)

What you will do

• Select comparable properties, analyze market data, and complete residential property valuations using established techniques and methodologies.
• Prepare accurate, high-quality appraisal reports and maintain strong communication with the operating team and client contacts.
• Manage daily activities and assignment capacity independently while supporting efficient operations.
• Work with Senior Appraisers through mentorship and training, and occasionally support Trainees.
• Recommend improvements to business processes and data collection methods.
• Advise management and engineering executives on product decisions, process flows, and compensation plans when needed.

Requirements

• Certified or licensed residential appraiser with the ability to perform reliable residential valuations across varied property types and complexities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency with software, applications, databases, and other technology tools.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage time effectively, and communicate with clients and operating contacts.
• Valid driver's license for conducting fieldwork.
• Comfort with frequent outdoor fieldwork at construction and remote sites in all seasons and weather, including walking long distances over uneven or icy terrain and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
