Trader (Crypto)

hirify.global builds critical infrastructure for the crypto ecosystem and operates as the crypto division of Jump Trading Group, a quantitative trading firm.

What you will do

• Execute trading strategies in a 24/7 crypto market, working four days per week on a Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat schedule.
• Monitor trading positions and reconcile trades and position breaks with clearing and operations teams.
• Build and maintain the DevOps toolkit for production trading systems, including configuration, deployments, monitoring, and data analysis.
• Troubleshoot production trading issues and improve trading desk processes.
• Support quant trading efforts, exchange setups, and team-wide projects beyond daily trading coverage.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of trading experience.
• Comfort with Python and the ability to write and understand simple to moderate scripts.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, make discretionary decisions, and maintain reliable, predictable availability.
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and knowledge of currencies and exchanges.
