TL;DR
Security Architect (AI) (HIPAA-regulated AI security): Building automated security pipelines and vulnerability remediation systems for a healthcare AI platform with an accent on exploit validation, AI-specific threat modeling, and secure-by-default architecture. Focus on designing CI/CD security analysis, defending against prompt injection and model supply-chain attacks, and establishing detection and incident response for the security pipeline.
Location: Full-time, in-office role in Lehi, Utah, United States; remote work is not available. Relocation to Lehi is considered.

What you will do
- Design and build automated security pipelines covering vulnerability discovery, dynamic validation, remediation, and verification.
- Build exploit-validation harnesses, LLM-powered remediation tools, and pull-request security analysis within CI/CD.
- Threat-model platform systems and AI-specific attack surfaces, including prompt injection, model supply-chain risks, and agent abuse.
- Partner with engineering leadership on secure-by-default architecture for authentication, secrets, data isolation, BAA chains, and SSO/SCIM.
- Lead HIPAA, SOC 2, and emerging compliance programs as engineering initiatives.
- Establish detection, incident response, and observability for the security pipeline while writing maintainable code and raising engineering security standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or security architecture, with a strong record of shipping code.
- Deep experience in vulnerability research, red team/offensive security, or secure systems design.
- Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/Node, Go, or Rust.
- Experience securing AWS or similar cloud infrastructure, containers, infrastructure as code, managed databases, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, or other regulated compliance environments.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Lehi, Utah; relocation is considered for the right candidate.

- Experience or strong interest in AI/ML security, including prompt injection, model integrity, and LLM-powered offense and defense.
