Integrated IT Audit Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work model with in-office attendance required Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote placement is not considered. Local hours (PT) are required, with flexibility across time zones when necessary. Relocation is offered based on job level.

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 annual base salary, plus potential equity and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead integrated audits combining IT, financial, and operational risk perspectives across the bank.
• Build and refine the integrated audit approach, including coordinated IT and business process testing.
• Support SOX audits through IT control scoping, issue identification, and remediation tracking.
• Test ITGCs such as user access reviews and change management, investigating root causes and control effectiveness.
• Define audit approaches for AI use, including risk identification and control expectations.
• Use data analytics and AI tools to improve audit testing quality and coverage, communicate findings, and mentor audit team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of internal audit or related risk and technology experience, plus a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• End-to-end ownership of integrated audits from scoping through issue validation.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve work quality and provide guidance to colleagues.
• Strong understanding of ITGCs, including access management and change management.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders and the ability to influence across organizational levels.
• Experience auditing projects in real time while products are being built.

Nice to have

• CISA, CISSP, CIA, or a similar certification.
• Experience auditing SOX-in-scope IT controls.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML governance or model risk concepts.
• Experience auditing software or product development for payments, lending, or securitization products.
