Staff Software Engineer - Edge Mapping (Embedded/IoT)

What you will do

• Architect and evolve efficient userspace software for rich, high-frequency realtime data.
• Build high-level C++, Python, and TypeScript embedded applications, sensor fusion pipelines, and computer vision systems.
• Iterate using data-driven performance monitoring across tens of thousands of devices.
• Develop software that takes advantage of available hardware acceleration paths.
• Optimize machine learning vision models to run efficiently on embedded hardware.

Requirements

• Experience with embedded sensor solutions and sensor-based mapping systems.
• Understanding of RGB, global shutter stereo depth, GNSS, and IMU platforms.
• Hands-on Linux OS development experience for embedded systems, including Yocto.
• Proficiency in C or C++ and at least one of Python, TypeScript, Node, OpenVINO, or Go.
