Color Design Associate (Fashion)

Location: Los Angeles, CA; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office per week, Tuesday through Thursday

Salary: $20.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support seasonal color palette creation, pattern development, and execution through bulk fabrications.
• Build physical and digital color and pattern palettes from seasonal concept boards.
• Create Product Playbooks, pitch sheets, CAD pages, visual line sheets, and other communication assets.
• Manage dip and artwork requests, including fabrication, dye technique, and print specifications.
• Coordinate color approvals and maintain dip approval binders, folders, color names, and digital tracking.
• Collaborate with Design, Raw Materials, Sourcing, Product Development, and Merchandising on material feasibility and performance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in color design, color analysis, textile design, concept design, or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion or a closely related design field.
• Strong eye for color and pattern with an understanding of relevant brand trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback.
• Ability to work from the Los Angeles Creative Studio at least three days per week.
