Compliance Officer (Fintech)

Location: Onsite in New York City, in the SoHo office

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Support and continuously improve the compliance program through monitoring, testing, reporting, and business-practice reviews.
• Update the Compliance Manual, Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and related documentation.
• Review employee electronic communications, Code of Ethics reporting, marketing materials, and other public communications.
• Prepare regulatory filings, including Form ADV amendments and Rule 13 filings.
• Support the Chief Legal Officer with regulatory inquiries and examinations.
• Coordinate compliance training and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product, Engineering, and external compliance consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; finance, accounting, economics, or legal studies are preferred.
• 2–4 years of compliance experience in financial services or fintech.
• Strong understanding of the Investment Adhirify.globalrs Act of 1940 and related SEC rules.
• Familiarity with regulatory filings such as Form ADV and Rule 13F reports.
• Experience drafting and updating policies and procedures, with strong organization and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with compliance tools and systems such as Global Relay or ComplianceAlpha.
