Internal Audit Lead

Location: US FL JAX 347; hybrid working arrangement

What you will do

• Lead and support financial, operational, regulatory, and SOX audit projects from planning through completion.
• Assess engagement risks, evaluate key controls, and perform control design walkthroughs.
• Develop audit work programs, document workpapers, and prepare clear audit reports.
• Identify audit observations, recommend solutions, and track remediation activities.
• Review staff auditor workpapers and mentor audit staff through assigned projects and career development.
• Support special investigations, annual risk assessments, and audit plan development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, technology, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of audit experience, preferably in a Fortune 500, Big 4, professional services, or highly regulated environment.
• One or more professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE, or relevant determination to pursue certification where applicable.
• Strong understanding of the Institute of Internal Auditors Global Standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, integrity, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, generally 0–10% depending on location.
