Senior Auditor (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States; willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain risk-based audit testing programs aligned with the annual internal audit plan.
• Define audit scopes and testing procedures with Internal Audit leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Assess internal control design and the accuracy of financial and operational information.
• Conduct risk assessments and end-to-end audits from planning through reporting and follow-up.
• Gather and analyze data, draw conclusions, and communicate audit findings.
• Support SOX testing and manage stakeholder relationships, project ownership, and internal audit KPIs and SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 4 years of financial services experience in public accounting, auditing, or industry.
• Experience testing SOX controls.
• Qualified or near-qualified audit or accounting professional, such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, project management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Comfort with an on-site presence in Grand Rapids and willingness to travel up to 25%.
