Senior Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

Location: United States, remote; core Eastern Time hours required. Occasional travel for team and customer onsites, typically up to four times per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate platform features and services end-to-end, including data models and APIs.
• Improve performance, reliability, data-access patterns, and high-traffic platform paths.
• Own delivery of customer-visible roadmap milestones while partnering with Product, Client Success, engineering teams, and accounting experts.
• Improve code quality through reviews, design feedback, mentoring, and production ownership.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools with safeguards including automated tests, generated-code validation, and regression prevention.
• Strengthen observability, incident response, SLA adherence, supportability, and customer experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production software.
• Strong depth in a modern server-side stack; working experience with .NET and C# is strongly preferred.
• Experience improving and operating existing platforms at scale.
• Knowledge of data modeling, API design, testing strategy, CI/CD, observability, and production operations in a cloud-hosted SaaS environment.
• Working fluency with AI-assisted development tools and sound judgment regarding their safe use.
• Strong quality standards, self-direction, written communication, and collaboration across distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or a comparable cloud-native platform, observability, on-call practices, and cloud cost awareness.
• Background in fintech, fund administration, partnership accounting, or other domains with complex financial logic and audit requirements.
• Experience defining guardrails for AI-assisted development or safely building LLM-backed product capabilities.
• Experience with platform migration, modernization, or re-architecture.
• Experience in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
