is an AI company developing NEXUS, a large tabular model for enterprise decision-making, founded by DeepMind alumni and serving major enterprise customers.
What you will do
- Deploy NEXUS into production use cases from Proof of Value through post-implementation.
- Benchmark NEXUS against customer baselines such as XGBoost and LightGBM.
- Execute data engineering, feature engineering, preprocessing, and validation for high-impact business problems.
- Identify data anomalies, prevent data leakage, and support last-mile integrations across VPC, on-premises, and air-gapped environments.
- Translate customer insights and operational challenges into inputs for the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with customers, research, product, sales, and solution architecture teams to explain predictions and demonstrate business value.
Requirements
- PhD, master's degree, or equivalent expertise in computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical individual contributor in data science or software engineering.
- Experience with Docker, orchestration, and performant APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
- End-to-end machine learning pipeline expertise, including problem framing, preprocessing, algorithms, and validation strategies.
- Strong experience with PySpark, Pandas, data handling, and memory optimization.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical and architectural details into business value.
Nice to have
- Experience with PyTorch and cloud-native machine learning pipelines on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Staff Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or Staff Data Scientist.
- Industry-specific subject matter expertise.
