Technical Customer Engineer (Linux/Enterprise Storage)

What you will do

• Support and maintain Linux-based production systems across RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, and Ubuntu.
• Troubleshoot server, storage, application, and networking issues for global clients.
• Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and deployments.
• Learn and support enterprise storage systems, including distributed filesystems such as IBM Spectrum Scale / GPFS.
• Support basic networking tasks involving VLANs, routing, and switch configuration.
• Document resolutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

Requirements

• Previous experience in IT support, service desk, apprenticeship, or infrastructure support.
• Confident use of the Linux command line and a solid understanding of basic system administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with technical teams and end users.
• Motivation to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to networking, storage, or virtualization.
• Familiarity with SaltStack, Bash, or Python.
