Software Engineer - Ad Capabilities

Location: Based in the UK or Sweden; remote work or office work in London or Stockholm is available.

hirify.global builds a podcast marketplace and technology platform connecting podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners through dynamically inserted advertising.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Ad Manager campaign booking system.
• Build audience indexing and contextual targeting capabilities to serve relevant ads to podcast audiences.
• Improve workflows for campaign setup, targeting, flights, creatives, delivery synchronization, and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in the 24-hour on-call rotation for critical services in the ad delivery pipeline.

Requirements

• Early-career software engineering experience with a focus on frontend development and an interest in full-stack work.
• Experience with or willingness to use Node, TypeScript, and React or similar technologies.
• Comfort with or willingness to learn AWS.
• Understanding of healthy CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently or in pairs and collaborate directly with peers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work from the UK or Sweden.
