TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (React/TypeScript/NextJS): Building and scaling high-traffic frontend web applications for Sky and NBCU streaming and service products with an accent on partner onboarding, UI/UX improvements, performance, accessibility, and resilience. Focus on end-to-end testing, continuous delivery, secure web application design, and shaping technical direction across an Agile development community.
Location: London, UK; hybrid work with 3 days in the office per week at the Osterley base

What you will do
- Create frontend web applications using React and Redux.
- Build high-traffic eCommerce and service applications for NOW, WOW, PeacockTV, and Showtime.
- Develop partner onboarding experiences and improve UI/UX and application performance.
- Write resilient code supported by continuous testing, deployment, monitoring, and alerting.
- Perform unit, functional, integration, end-to-end, visual regression, and Lighthouse testing.
- Contribute to technical direction and improve development tools and processes.
Requirements
- Commercial experience developing with React, TypeScript, and NextJS.
- Knowledge of TDD, visual regression testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or Concourse and frontend testing frameworks.
- Experience optimizing web applications for performance, accessibility, security, and resilience.
- Ability to drive improvements across the codebase and collaborate within a large developer community.
- Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience with Node, GraphQL, Playwright, or other development and testing frameworks.
