What you will do

• Design and implement FPGA systems using VHDL and Verilog for high-speed data processing, control, and communications.
• Verify FPGA designs with SystemVerilog and object-oriented methodologies to achieve high test coverage.
• Develop and optimize analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for photonics systems.
• Integrate FPGA designs with optical systems in collaboration with optical, software, hardware, mechanical, test, and firmware engineers.
• Plan and conduct testing, validation, simulation, and hardware debugging for FPGA designs and electrical circuits.
• Create design documentation, test plans, and reports supporting the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of FPGA design and verification experience with VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
• Experience with high-speed digital design, signal integrity, hardware debugging, PCB design, layout, and circuit simulation.
• Experience with Xcelium, Xilinx Vivado, or Altera Quartus.
• Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, signal processing, power management, and high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or TCL for automation and testing, plus familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time systems, optical sensors, or LiDAR.
• Knowledge of embedded systems design.
• Experience with high-speed serial interfaces, ADCs, and DACs.
