Engr POC/Test (AI)

What you will do

• Execute technical proofs of concept for products and solutions aligned with customer deployments.
• Test hardware and software for functionality, scale, performance, network operations, interoperability, and customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with Software, Hardware Engineering, and Customer Engineering teams to diagnose issues and support customer success.
• Maintain detailed test plans, customer-validated topologies, test coverage, and testbeds across multiple product generations.
• Drive fixes for issues identified during proofs of concept and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply automation best practices to increase throughput and reduce the time required to support multiple proofs of concept.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in proof-of-concept or systems/solutions testing across network technologies. Leadership roles require 15+ years of experience delivering customer success in pre-sales or proof-of-concept engagements.
• Proficiency in networking technology software and hands-on experience with diverse Network Operating Systems, including IOS, IOS-XR, EOS, and Junos.
• Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex networking issues.
• Significant experience in DevOps, Network Operations, or Network Engineering within a cloud provider or enterprise-level team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, learning ability, and customer empathy.

Nice to have

• Experience with SONiC or another open-source operating system.
