Data Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco

Salary: $160,000 - $230,000

hirify.global is building an autonomous, neural network-driven system to unify and optimize raw computer networks.

What you will do

• Design and implement a unified Models API for accessing training, evaluation, and deployment data.
• Build scalable pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving petabytes of data using Kafka, Postgres, and Clickhouse.
• Ensure backwards compatibility and feature versioning across evolving data schemas.
• Create CI/CD workflows to evolve the API in lockstep with underlying data changes.
• Collaborate with modelers to design reproducible, debuggable, and high-performance training pipelines.
• Own performance across key endpoints to meet real-time serving constraints.

Requirements

• Experience designing large-scale data infrastructure across batch and streaming modes.
• Deep understanding of schema design, versioning, and data quality.
• Ability to build systems that are simple to use and robust.
• Experience partnering closely with research or modeling teams.
• Thrive in early-stage environments and building from scratch.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco.
