Staff Product Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid

Salary: $285,000–$330,000 per year, plus equity grant

What you will do

• Build polished user experiences and own the APIs, data models, and backend services behind them.
• Shape product roadmaps and direction in close partnership with Product and Design.
• Drive architecture decisions, lead technical reviews, and set technical direction for the Product Engineering team.
• Align Engineering, Product, Design, and Data Science on priorities and tradeoffs.
• Mentor engineers, improve development processes and code quality, and raise engineering standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping user-facing products as a full stack engineer.
• Experience owning large, ambiguous problem spaces from concept through production.
• Production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing APIs, working with data models, and debugging complex backend systems.
• Strong product judgment, attention to UX edge cases, and ability to lead through influence.
• Experience establishing software abstractions, architecture, and maintainable development patterns.
