Principal Technical Architect (Salesforce)

Location: London, UK; some travel may be required.

Salary: £71,100–£120,900 per year.

What you will do

• Lead installations and technical implementations of hirify.global, Salesforce, and Force.com solutions for financial institution clients.
• Design, build, test, document, and deploy integrations using the hirify.global Integration Framework and third-party systems.
• Translate customer requirements into implementation plans, functional specifications, solution designs, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate vendor APIs and interface specifications and troubleshoot complex client issues.
• Support multiple client projects, assist sales and sales engineering on technical prospect calls, and track time and billable work.
• Apply AI/ML capabilities to integration frameworks, solution design, cloud solutions, DevOps practices, and system automation.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's or advanced degree, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to design, build, explain, and defend architectural solutions focused primarily on integrations, including basic UI components.
• Experience supporting DevOps processes and applying engineering principles to code, workflows, and integration patterns.
• Salesforce Dev401 certification and experience with Salesforce developer tools, Migration Tool, web services, configuration, and custom development.
• Advanced knowledge of data management, SQL, RDBMS technologies, ETL/integration platforms, object-oriented concepts, and design patterns.
• Financial Services experience and strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, customer, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with large financial institutions, loan origination or servicing systems, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Informatica, Cast Iron, SnapLogic, Apex, SOQL, XML, or JavaScript experience.
• Salesforce System Architect certification.
• Experience with Java, Ruby, C#, C++, or other object-oriented languages.
