TL;DR
Staff Cloud Architect (AWS/Kubernetes): Owning the architecture and technical direction of a large-scale financial reconciliation platform with an accent on scalability, performance, security, and infrastructure standards. Focus on designing distributed infrastructure, building critical-path components, mentoring senior engineers, and solving long-term cost and maintainability challenges.
Location: Singapore; hybrid with in-office collaboration 10+ days per month

What you will do
- Own the infrastructure architecture, scalability, performance, and security direction for the Treasury Reconciliation platform.
- Set infrastructure standards, patterns, and technical direction for the engineering team.
- Mentor senior infrastructure engineers, review designs, and unblock complex technical problems.
- Prototype and build critical-path infrastructure components and reference implementations.
- Make infrastructure trade-off decisions involving long-term cost, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Represent infrastructure and security posture to clients, auditors, and partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and owning large-scale distributed infrastructure.
- 4+ years of technical leadership and engineering mentorship experience.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, plus strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Linux and Windows server environments, containerization, and orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform, Argo CD, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Spark, and MSSQL.
- Experience building highly available, secure infrastructure for high-volume transactional workloads; a computer science degree or equivalent practical experience.
