DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

What you will do

• Design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, packaging, releases, and deployments.
• Develop GitHub Actions workflows, reusable actions, pipeline templates, and automation standards.
• Support branching, pull request, merge, tagging, and release strategies across engineering teams.
• Automate promotion across development, test, staging, and production environments with quality gates and approvals.
• Improve pipeline reliability, speed, observability, and failure handling while troubleshooting build and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers, and the Senior SRE on secure delivery, infrastructure automation, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, build engineering, release engineering, platform engineering, or CI/CD automation.
• Production experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with strong hands-on experience in GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, versioning, tagging, releases, and environment promotion.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with AWS deployment concepts and secure CI/CD practices, including secrets management, least-privilege permissions, and deployment controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in a distributed engineering environment.

Nice to have

• Experience standardizing CI/CD practices across multiple repositories or engineering teams.
• Experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, AWS CDK, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with AWS-based, serverless, or event-driven SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, rollback, blue-green, canary, or progressive deployment approaches.
• Experience with regulated financial services environments or AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot.
