Cloud Engineer Lead (AWS, Azure)

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid with three days in-office and two days virtual

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud network architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Build secure connectivity solutions covering routing, segmentation, firewall integrations, and cloud network security.
• Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code solutions, reusable templates, and deployment patterns.
• Partner with application, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud services.
• Troubleshoot complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues while improving monitoring and automation.
• Lead technical reviews, guide cloud networking strategy and governance, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Experience designing and supporting cloud networking solutions in AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, switching, firewall technologies, and network security principles.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls or comparable enterprise firewall platforms.
• Practical experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent skills-based experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palo Alto Panorama, GlobalProtect, and cloud-native security integrations.
• Knowledge of ExpressRoute, VPN technologies, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and cloud DNS services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based infrastructure delivery, reusable Terraform modules, and enterprise cloud networking frameworks.
• Experience in financial services, regulated industries, or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Relevant cloud, network, or security certifications.
