TL;DR
Cloud Engineer Lead (AWS, Azure): Designing and operating secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across AWS and Azure with an accent on connectivity, network security, and infrastructure automation. Focus on building reusable Terraform standards, solving complex routing and security issues, and improving resilience across distributed cloud environments.
Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid with three days in-office and two days virtual

What you will do
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud network architectures across AWS and Azure.
- Build secure connectivity solutions covering routing, segmentation, firewall integrations, and cloud network security.
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code solutions, reusable templates, and deployment patterns.
- Partner with application, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud services.
- Troubleshoot complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues while improving monitoring and automation.
- Lead technical reviews, guide cloud networking strategy and governance, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Experience designing and supporting cloud networking solutions in AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing, switching, firewall technologies, and network security principles.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls or comparable enterprise firewall platforms.
- Practical experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent skills-based experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Palo Alto Panorama, GlobalProtect, and cloud-native security integrations.
- Knowledge of ExpressRoute, VPN technologies, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and cloud DNS services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based infrastructure delivery, reusable Terraform modules, and enterprise cloud networking frameworks.
- Experience in financial services, regulated industries, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Relevant cloud, network, or security certifications.
