What you will do
- Own and communicate the enterprise data streaming strategy and long-term roadmap.
- Architect and prototype infrastructure for real-time analytics and emerging AI/ML technologies.
- Design and document scalable streaming patterns, standards, and governance practices.
- Ensure security, quality, reliability, and successful enterprise adoption of the streaming platform.
- Coordinate streaming initiatives, manage stakeholder expectations, and lead high-value proof-of-concepts.
- Establish and lead a data streaming Community of Practice.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and managing large-scale Kafka or Confluent Platform solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience with Flink or ksqlDB and proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling, data governance, AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Leadership experience defining roadmaps and standards, articulating vision, and influencing technical direction.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with strong communication skills.
