Embedded Linux OS Architect (Automotive AI)

What you will do

• Research and define software solutions based on the PCIe standard and Linux PCIe stack implementation.
• Design and implement software stacks enabling communication between EyeQ SoCs for cross-chip neural networks.
• Define future hardware solutions with the SoC Architecture team in a hardware/software co-development environment.
• Perform performance analysis, feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and optimization to maximize performance while minimizing resource usage.
• Collaborate with the Linux Kernel team and provide technical guidance and mentoring to development engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 7+ years of experience in Linux Kernel architecture, OS internals, and subsystems such as memory management, I/O, storage, and networking.
• Deep understanding of the PCIe standard, topologies, and applications.
• Strong understanding of hardware architecture and high-bandwidth applications.
• Strong experience with performance analysis and debugging techniques.

Nice to have

• Experience with MIPS and RISC-V hardware architectures and their operating-system implementations.
• Experience in user-space development.
