Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid with 2–3 days in the office. No relocation.

Salary: €45,000–€55,700 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement hirify.global AI test infrastructure.
• Build and drive the long-term validation strategy.
• Develop automated tests and validation approaches for AI interactions.
• Support testing across hirify.global hardware, applications, and voice control surfaces.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and report to the QA Manager.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in test automation.
• MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Understanding of software testing principles, test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
• Experience with a general-purpose programming language such as Python, Shell, or C++.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with pytest.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Experience with Docker.
