Fleet Operations Coordinator (Robotics)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; coordination includes onsite and offsite robot operations.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily scheduling and utilization of a prototype robot fleet and operator workforce.
• Translate software, hardware, and product requirements into clear data collection instructions and operator assignments.
• Track robot utilization, operator throughput, operational performance, issues, and work status.
• Build, maintain, and improve metrics, dashboards, schedules, trackers, and operational documentation.
• Identify inefficiencies, staffing constraints, fleet availability issues, and schedule conflicts, then recommend and validate improvements using data.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and work instructions while escalating risks, blockers, and workflow issues.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working with evolving processes and ambiguity.
• Employment authorization will be verified through E-Verify after an offer is made.

Nice to have

• Applied use of AI tools to improve workflows, analysis, or operational efficiency.
• Experience in operations coordination, logistics, program support, or technical operations.
• Familiarity with robotics, hardware systems, field operations, or data collection environments.
• Experience building or maintaining operational metrics, dashboards, or reporting tools.
