Corporate Paralegal (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The role requires 4–5 days per week in the office, regular in-person meetings and occasional travel for company events.

Salary: $38.46–$46.86 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Draft and review contracts for procurement, sales and marketing, finance, and other business functions with in-house attorneys.
• Manage contract lifecycle activities, including tracking, renewals, expirations, and legal document databases.
• Support corporate governance matters, including constitutive documents, filings, business permits, and Board and shareholder documentation.
• Coordinate legal due diligence for corporate transactions and organize responses and data-room documents.
• Manage outside counsel projects, budgets, costs, and expenses, and coordinate information with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support employee training on contract lifecycle management, corporate governance, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant paralegal experience or paralegal certification.
• 4–6 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of transaction lifecycle management, legal concepts, contracts, legal research, corporate governance, and contract management tools.
• Strong drafting, writing, organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, review invoices, manage deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
