Technical Program Manager (Autonomous Robotics)

Location: Munich, Germany. German or EU citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Manage medium to large customer programs for autonomous robotic systems from contract award through delivery and sustainment.
• Lead cross-functional engineering, integration, manufacturing, and testing teams delivering complex hardware and software systems.
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers using agile and traditional methodologies.
• Coordinate with OEM partners and customers, resolve issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee program financials, support RFI and RFP responses, and contribute execution feedback to product and technology roadmaps.
• Coordinate logistics for hardware deliveries, field trials, and system deployments while ensuring defense, aerospace, export control, and cybersecurity compliance.

Requirements

• MSc, MEng, or MBA with a strong technical background in autonomous robotic systems.
• At least 5 years of product and program management experience.
• Experience managing commercial systems applicable to defense, ideally within the aerospace or defense industries.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly engineering organizations.
• Customer-facing experience; experience with European government customers is advantageous.
• German or EU citizenship required. Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 20% of the time.
