HRA Operations Associate

What you will do

• Provide phone and email support to members and deliver a seamless service experience.
• Submit health insurance applications to carriers and manage them through approval.
• Guide members through the healthcare system, coverage options, qualifying questions, and benefits.
• Identify and resolve enrollment, transaction, and service issues.
• Document member calls and emails in Zendesk and provide scheduled phone and email coverage.

Requirements

• Active health and life insurance license in the resident state is required.
• Hands-on experience enrolling individuals through Healthcare.gov or a state-based exchange is required.
• Background in customer support or member services, such as a call center or help desk.
• Clear verbal and written communication, patience, empathy, and composure under stress.
• Ability to apply insurance expertise while guiding members through coverage enrollment.
• Confidence working in a support ticketing platform.

Nice to have

• Licenses in multiple states or willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Fluent bilingual communication, especially Spanish.
• Experience with Zendesk or a comparable support platform.
