Logistics Specialist

Location: Hybrid role in Munich, Germany; EU citizenship required

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, store, pick, and package sensitive hardware, prototypes, modules, systems, and lithium-ion batteries.
• Organize and continuously optimize the hardware warehouse for safety and fast access.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and book material movements in the ERP system.
• Book, manage, and monitor national and international shipments by air freight, courier, and road transport.
• Prepare customs and export documents, manage ATLAS procedures, classify goods, and issue certificates of origin or Carnet ATA documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and courier services while maintaining contingency and alternative sourcing plans.

Requirements

• Completed commercial or vocational training in logistics or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of operational warehouse logistics experience combined with import and export processing experience in Germany or the EU.
• Knowledge of German and EU customs law and experience with the ATLAS system.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, plus solid Excel and digital-tool skills.
• Fluent German and English required; EU citizenship required.
• Structured, proactive, communicative, and collaborative working style.

Nice to have

• Professional experience handling dangerous goods, especially lithium-ion batteries under ADR/IATA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of EAR/ITAR and export control requirements for dual-use goods.
