Manufacturing Technician II - Formulation (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: USA - OH - West Chester; onsite day shift, 06:00–18:30 on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor formulation process execution, production tasks, materials, supplies, and batch activities on the manufacturing floor.
• Operate, set up, assemble, disassemble, clean, sanitize, and maintain process equipment, including pumps, mixers, single-use bags, and connections.
• Perform product sampling, dispensing, filter integrity testing, parts washing, line clearances, and batch reconciliation.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, data collection, mathematical calculations, and inventory control using SAP.
• Perform clean-in-place and steam-in-place activities, housekeeping, material handling, and safety procedures in cGMP environments.
• Collaborate with mechanic and lead technicians, support preventive maintenance, and participate in 5S, problem-solving, and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a pharmaceutical production environment.
• Ability to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Basic knowledge of cleanroom techniques, chemical handling, spill control, PPE, LOTO, ergonomics, and material handling safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to a changing environment, learn new skills, and work with minimal supervision.
• Must work onsite in West Chester, Ohio, and occasional overtime may be required.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP, and Veeva Vault.
• Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies and procedures.
