Senior Software Engineer (Java/Vue)

Location: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 CAD per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

hirify.global provides a commerce partnership marketing platform for managing affiliate, influencer, content publisher, brand ambassador, and customer referral partnerships.

What you will do

• Build and deliver software solutions for the Impact platform and its client portal.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor scalable web applications used by thousands of customers worldwide.
• Work within a small, fast-paced agile Scrum team and contribute to technical decisions.
• Use the frameworks, languages, tools, and cloud services supporting the platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Java skills and familiarity with functional programming.
• Professional experience with Spring, Hibernate, Vue.js, and SQL databases such as MySQL or MSSQL.
• Experience with GCP, GitHub, and Linux environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or Google Pub/Sub real-time streaming technologies.
• Experience deploying and monitoring end-to-end web applications.
• Experience with Gradle, Maven, or Jenkins.
• Affiliate and partnerships industry fundamentals certification.
