Design Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; On-site. Some travel may be required to work with design partners worldwide.

hirify.global is a research and product lab creating a platform for continual learning that enables companies to continuously post-train large-scale agentic models using signals from product usage.

What you will do

• Craft the product experience for making continual learning legible and intuitive.
• Own visualization, interaction, and developer experience surfaces for continually improving models.
• Build hirify.global visualizations, evaluation workflows, monitoring dashboards, and core product interfaces.
• Work directly with founders and design partners to translate reinforcement learning systems into a developer-first product experience.
• Define the visual language, interaction patterns, and product philosophy of the platform.

Requirements

• Strong frontend or design engineering experience with TypeScript, React, or similar technologies.
• Experience building polished, production user interfaces.
• Strong product judgment and the craft to create high-quality software experiences.
• Experience building AI-powered products or agent systems and actively experimenting with new frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization or complex technical UIs.
• Experience with observability or debugging interfaces.
• Background at high-craft product companies or developer tooling startups.
• Experience working closely with designers or operating as a design-minded engineer.
