Software Engineer - Integrations Team (Node/TypeScript)

Location: Hybrid, based in Spain or France; flexibility to work away from the main offices, including abroad for a defined period, may apply.

What you will do

• Design and build solutions for customers and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Build partner integrations and expose hirify.global data for external integration.
• Participate in customer problem discovery, design, delivery, operation, and support.
• Drive continuous improvement within the cross-functional Integrations Squad.
• Ensure software meets security and quality standards.
• Own the product lifecycle from development and deployment through maintenance, following the DevOps “You build it, you run it” principle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on development experience, preferably with a SaaS product, and a solid understanding of software architecture.
• Fluent English required for collaboration in an international environment.
• Experience with continuous delivery and test-driven development.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data engineers.
• Experience with agile and lean software development methodologies, autonomous work, and team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of integrations or payroll.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and domain-driven design.
• Spanish or French language skills.

Hiring process

• Discovery call with Talent Acquisition, followed by a technical discussion with an Engineering Manager.
