Business Analyst II (Fintech)

What you will do

• Translate high-level objectives from Software Product Management and external clients into testable, measurable functional specifications.
• Research, gather, analyze, and document requirements from multiple sources.
• Own software product features throughout the requirement lifecycle and maintain the product backlog.
• Participate in or drive sprint planning and assist with prioritizing feature development and change requests.
• Support Quality Assurance with systematic and ad-hoc test cases, logging failures for resolution.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, Product Management, Development, UX, QA, Support, and leadership.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst working with enterprise software products.
• Knowledge of the software development and/or product development lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, management, and specification documentation.
• Ability to synthesize cross-functional input and work collaboratively across teams.
• Required experience with databases and service-level APIs.

Nice to have

• Agile/Scrum software development and web product design experience.
• Knowledge of order processing, accounting, ecommerce, web communications, or content management.
