Salary: $125,000–$155,000 per year, with potential stock options and benefits.

hirify.global Space develops in-space transportation vehicles for orbital transport, constellation deployment, precision reentry, and missions beyond Low Earth Orbit.

What you will do

  • Implement GNC flight, test, and analysis systems for high-performance space vehicles.
  • Develop robust algorithms for satellites in LEO and GEO, large upper stages, and landers.
  • Generate GNC verification data for spacecraft missions.
  • Contribute to flight-code and simulation software development.
  • Create reusable tools for vehicle GNC systems and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communicate design intent, requirements, and capabilities across the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in spacecraft GNC design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Matlab and C++.
  • Experience with control analysis in time and frequency domains, estimation theory, or astrodynamics.
  • Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

  • Experience with upper-stage or lander control.
  • Experience with rendezvous and proximity operations or formation flying.
  • Experience in a startup or agile development environment.
  • Experience in spacecraft operations and vehicle GNC design processes.
