Senior Software Engineer (Fabrication Data Mining & Analysis)

What you will do

• Develop hirify.global’s in-house fabrication database into a robust, production-ready data platform.
• Design and implement user-friendly GUIs and web interfaces for fabrication data exploration, visualization, and analysis.
• Build data mining and analysis tools to identify relationships between fabrication parameters and physical device behavior.
• Automate traceability of process steps, results, and deviations across the manufacturing value chain from wafer to NPU.
• Own database-related troubleshooting and continuous improvement while collaborating with manufacturing, physics, engineering, and data teams.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-expert users.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience building, managing, and scaling databases and data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with data mining, data analysis, or applied data science.
• Strong programming skills in Python and solid experience with SQL and database design.
• Experience with user management and access control systems.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Background or strong interest in physics, semiconductor manufacturing, or photonics.
• Experience developing user-facing tools or GUIs.
• Experience developing web-based interfaces for data visualization and analysis platforms.
• German or another European language.
