Lead Offensive Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead offensive security strategy across the software development lifecycle and promote secure-by-design engineering.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture reviews for decentralized AI systems, peer-to-peer networks, distributed protocols, and edge computing environments.
• Conduct adversary emulation, offensive security assessments, logic probing, exploit research, and security-focused code reviews.
• Analyze consensus, trust, identity, networking, authorization, cryptographic, and resiliency weaknesses in distributed systems.
• Partner with engineering teams to secure Rust networking libraries and distributed infrastructure.
• Design secure coding standards, automated security testing, developer security tooling, and long-term improvements based on incidents and root-cause investigations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in offensive security, product security, application security, secure systems engineering, or a related cybersecurity discipline.
• Experience with offensive security assessments, adversary emulation, and real-world exploit path analysis.
• Experience securing distributed systems, peer-to-peer architectures, decentralized platforms, networking protocols, or large-scale infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of cryptography, authentication and authorization, secure communications, key management, threat modeling, secure code review, and penetration testing.
• Experience with systems programming languages such as Rust, Go, or C/C++.
• Ability to independently analyze unfamiliar systems from first principles and influence engineers and technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Offensive security certifications such as OSWE, OSCE/OSEP, GXPN, or GWAPT.
