IT Risk & Compliance Engineer (DevOps/Agile)

What you will do

• Coordinate IT risk control execution and serve as the central contact for audits and evidence submission.
• Monitor control performance, risk indicators, and execution timelines, escalating delays when required.
• Identify, assess, and manage IT risks across systems and processes.
• Ensure alignment with internal frameworks and regulations, including SOX, ITGC, and DORA.
• Drive automation of manual controls, improve risk processes, and develop dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, business, asset-owner, and risk stakeholders in Agile/SCRUM workstreams.

Requirements

• Experience in IT risk, IT security, IT compliance, IT controls, or IT audit.
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with IT, engineering, and risk stakeholders in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and translate technical topics into clear risk and control documentation.
• English at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with audit, control testing, or compliance validation.
• Familiarity with cloud, infrastructure, DevOps practices, automation, scripting, or risk tooling.
• Experience in financial services.
• ISC2 Cyber Security, PMP, or ING White/Blue Security Champion certification.
