Reconciliation Associate (Finance)

Location: Office-based in Noida, India

Provides a web-based system for managing and reconciling investment portfolio data and delivering portfolio status updates to clients.

What you will do

• Compare investment portfolio data from external sources with data in the reconciliation system.
• Review and update reporting data to meet daily deadlines.
• Investigate reconciliation issues, resolve discrepancies, and seek guidance from mentors or department experts when needed.
• Communicate with data providers, clients, and internal stakeholders to submit inquiries and provide timely updates.
• Maintain documentation and contribute feedback to product teams on internal projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or another analytical field.
• At least 1 year of directly applicable experience in reconciliation, accounting, or finance.
• Basic understanding of investment, financial, and accounting concepts, including standard security types.
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and VBA.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience in finance, accounting, securities, or financial markets.
