Credit Associate 1 (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at Vertis North, Quezon City, Philippines

What you will do

• Review and process consumer and commercial credit card applications that are not automatically approved or declined.
• Respond to approximately 25–50 daily cardholder and merchant inquiries, including credit line increases and account maintenance.
• Verify applicant information against credit bureau data and request additional information when needed.
• Apply client-specific credit policies to make accurate, timely decisions and identify potential fraud risks.
• Provide timely customer service across multiple clients and application systems.
• Complete documentation and reporting to track daily work assignments and support client billing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically, no relevant experience is required; 0–2 years of related experience is preferred.
• Customer service or client-support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to evaluate information, follow established guidelines, maintain accuracy, and manage multiple priorities.
• Clear and professional communication skills, with a proactive approach to quality and continuous learning.
• Willingness to work onsite in Vertis North, Quezon City, and on shifting or rotational schedules.

Nice to have

• Experience in credit, financial services, banking, fraud prevention, or risk-related functions.
• Knowledge of credit bureaus, credit reporting, or credit application review.
• Experience working with multiple systems and clients in a high-volume environment.
