Trainee | Data Tribe @ING Bank (Data Analytics)

Location: Expo Business Park; mainly Bucharest during the first 18 months, with possible 3–6 month work abroad in one of ING’s countries if circumstances allow.

What you will do

• Support the definition, governance, and effective use of data across the bank.
• Analyze strategic business challenges in Banking Operations and identify practical solutions.
• Use SQL to explore and analyze data in a Data Warehouse environment.
• Design and implement tools and methods that improve operational results.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across ING departments in an Agile environment.
• Complete job rotations before starting a dedicated assignment in Data Tribe - Banking Operations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or studies in Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, or Finance, with excellent academic results.
• Maximum two years of professional experience.
• Good knowledge of banking products and processes.
• Medium-level SQL knowledge and strong analytical problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder alignment.
• English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Leadership or volunteering experience.
• International experience.
