What you will do

• Work on the product AI team in a combined research and development role.
• Build real-world use cases to test AI model effectiveness and performance.
• Generate threat data, execute attacks, and emulate advanced persistent threat actors.
• Write Python and shell scripts and create repeatable automated tests.
• Influence AI engineering priorities through security data and content.
• Test AI models and hirify.global’s capabilities for usefulness in security operations.

Requirements

• Experience on a product engineering team building a security product.
• Experience in security operations, threat research, and content development.
• Expertise with cloud platforms and cybersecurity tools.
• Development skills in Python, shell scripting, and databases or data lakes.
• Demonstrable experience with AI/ML technologies, AI-driven development practices, and the enterprise software development lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate security operations practices to non-security engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SOC, multi-tier security operations team, incident response, or outcome-driven threat research.
• Experience deploying and customizing AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience developing enterprise security applications.
• Experience automating attack ranges and deployments with AWS technologies.
• Security talks, published papers, a personal GitHub profile, or open-source contributions.
