Senior Solutions Engineer - Federal Civilian

Location: Remote within the United States; listed as US-Virginia-Remote

Annual base salary: $171,000–$205,000, depending on primary work location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Sales roles are also eligible for a commission plan.

What you will do

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings through post-sales customer satisfaction, upselling, and renewals.
• Discover customer use cases and gather technical requirements from federal civilian agencies.
• Design solutions using hirify.global technologies, reference architectures, and common implementation patterns.
• Demonstrate products, present product roadmaps and vision, and explain operational value to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with Account Managers, Product Management, Engineering, and other teams to support successful sales and customer outcomes.
• Represent hirify.global through conferences, meetups, webinars, blogs, and other external evangelism activities.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in a pre-sales context.
• Experience creating and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Experience with big data, data warehousing or relational databases, data engineering, data science or machine learning, and enterprise operations, security, or data governance.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; private cloud platforms; distributed container platforms such as Kubernetes; and technologies including SQL, Python, R, Spark, Airflow, NiFi, Kafka, Flink, Unix, or Linux.
• Understanding of federal civilian agencies, their data and analytics requirements, and US Federal Public Sector frameworks such as FISMA, RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140, FedRAMP, and STIG.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, storytelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A DOE Q clearance is preferred.
