Senior Solutions Engineer - Federal Civilian

Location: US-Virginia-Remote

Annual base salary: $171,000–$205,000, depending on primary work location, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings through post-sales customer success, upselling, and renewals.
• Discover customer use cases and gather requirements for Department of Energy and National Labs environments.
• Design solutions using hirify.global technologies, reference architectures, and common implementation patterns.
• Build and deliver technical demonstrations, presentations, product roadmaps, and vision briefings.
• Partner with account managers, product management, engineering, and other teams to support customer outcomes.
• Represent hirify.global through conferences, meetups, webinars, blogs, and other external evangelism.

Requirements

• Experience supporting the Department of Energy and National Labs, with an understanding of federal civilian agencies and their data and analytics requirements.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical, pre-sales, customer-facing role.
• Active or prior security clearance preferred, including DOE Q clearance.
• Experience with big data, data warehousing, relational databases, data engineering, data science, machine learning, enterprise operations, security, or data governance.
• Experience with one or more major cloud providers, private cloud infrastructure, distributed container platforms such as Kubernetes, and technologies including SQL, Python, R, Spark, Airflow, NiFi, Kafka, Flink, Unix, or Linux.
• Knowledge of US Federal Public Sector regulations and authorization frameworks such as FISMA, RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140, FedRAMP, and STIG, plus strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
