Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site. Relocation assistance and visa and green card support are available for successful applicants moving to San Francisco.

Salary: $158K–$235K annually, with the final offer based on experience, expertise, and overall fit.

hirify.global builds an AI-powered contract intelligence platform used by enterprise customers to review, search, extract information from, and analyze legal contracts.

What you will do

• Operate multi-cluster, multi-region Kubernetes deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including failover and disaster recovery.
• Build internal tooling for cluster provisioning and environment management with Pulumi, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
• Design workload isolation strategies for ML and API traffic while balancing cost, performance, and reliability.
• Implement enterprise security controls, including RBAC, workload identity, secrets management, data residency, and audit trails.
• Define SLOs, improve observability and uptime, automate repetitive work, and lead incident response and postmortems.
• Debug issues across APIs, workers, jobs, frontend builds, and performance to resolve end-to-end failures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure or DevOps engineering.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including cluster architecture, scheduling, networking, storage, and distributed-system failure modes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD using Pulumi or Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions in multi-cluster or multi-region environments.
• Ability to translate compliance and legal requirements into infrastructure constraints.
• Strong debugging, automation, systems thinking, and incident-response skills, with enough backend and frontend range to investigate cross-stack issues.
• Ability or willingness to work on-site in San Francisco, or relocate there.
