Security Engineer

Location: New York City, NY; on-site at the NYC headquarters

Salary: $180,000–$300,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Harden GCP cloud environments, Kubernetes, containers, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment systems.
• Protect video and metadata ETL pipelines through encryption, isolation, logging, and observability.
• Manage privileged access, workload identity, key rotation, least-privilege controls, PKI, KMS, and secrets.
• Secure the software supply chain through build and dependency scanning, artifact provenance, and hardened GitHub Actions runners.
• Lead threat modeling, red-team and tabletop exercises, incident response, and external penetration tests.
• Maintain compliance for creator data and AI training data.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience securing GCP; AWS security experience is also applicable.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, workload isolation, network segmentation, IAM, Terraform, CI/CD, and secure deployment guardrails.
• Experience protecting data pipelines with encryption, isolation, logging, and observability.
• Knowledge of cloud identity, secrets management, KMS, Secret Manager, workload identity, and PKI.
• Experience with software supply-chain security, threat modeling, incident response, red-team exercises, or penetration testing.
